Jim’s Mobile Offices was founded by Jim Helleny in 1986 as a company to provide construction trailers, mobile offices and storage containers to the construction industry. Early on in the business, Jim learned this simple truth – the best business plan is this:

  • Build a relationship with your customers.
  • Provide excellent products at a fair price.
  • Take care of your clients with outstanding customer service.

Along the way, Jim expanded the business to provide relocatable buildings as classrooms for schools throughout the Midwest as well as permanent modular buildings for commercial applications. Over the years, JMO has provided modular space solutions to construction companies, schools, colleges, churches, hospitals, doctors, hotels, banks, golf courses, automobile dealers and many other businesses, as well as households. We have a large, specialized container fleet to assist with any job site or residential storage issue.

Jim passed away in 2012, but his son Joe has taken over the leadership of the company, exercising those same values and respect for customers that were instilled in him by his father.  The company was rebranded in 2013 as JMO Modular, LLC, to better identify the changing role of the company while preserving homage to Jim’s vision.

Located in Southern Illinois, JMO Modular delivers permanent and relocatable modular and mobile buildings throughout the Midwest. We are proud to be longtime members of the Modular Building Institute and the National Portable Storage Association.
